5 Reasons To Use Dating Sites For Online Dating Rather Than Social Networking Sites.

1. Dating sites have a clear purpose to connect people in a romantic way. I love social networks and I consider them to be a wonderful resource, but I think many people will agree with me that love relationships are very superficial there. You meet people, exchange a couple of emails, then you do not have time to answer back in this busy crazy life, then you make 100 more new friends and lose each other…


2. On dating sites you feel more special because you are plunged into a warm hearty atmosphere. Here you know exactly what you are doing: looking for love, for your soul mate. Whereas on social networking sites many people spend hours without any purpose: they play games, read shared articles, watch videos and look at the photos of the sleeping pets. Oh yes, I know it is fun. But come on, don’t you think that sometimes it just eats your time?

3 .On dating sites you have more privacy and don’t see the flirtation of your friends behind your back. There can be nothing more discouraging than when you meet ‘the girl of your dreams’, start making some plans about her and suddenly you see that the next day she is a friend with 10 new ‘friends’ like you (Well, she might be an Online Marketer and uses Facebook for networking, but how do YOU know about that?). Moreover, she flirts with them very openly while they are commenting, (sometimes not very decently), on her photos. Or when you get acquainted with an absolutely gorgeous girl, and in a few days she is a ‘friend’ of your best friend.


4.  On dating websites you have no risk of being spammed and overwhelmed. Most specialised dating websites ban junk emails to other members, promoting your business and using outdated, incorrect and obscene information. 


5.  On dating sites you have less chances of being ripped off by scammers. Scammers can access anybody who places their profiles on large dating and social networking websites. Most large dating and social networking websites do not want you to know about scammers because they themselves have no clue who is signing up. As to specialised dating sites, most of them check their members’ identity and deal with real people. Otherwise, they will lose their reputation and will be shut down.


Scammers are a very interesting topic, which I researched for months. I even wrote an E-book about them. 
Saying all this with respect to all the social networking sites, I do not consider them to be the best option for online dating though they are a mine of information and you can meet many cool people and make good friends there. Whereas dating sites are specifically designed for dating. So why not look for your love there?
